The first mini-album of Awake For Life new lineup turned out to be quite grim. Tenacious motifs and velvet female vocals drag you into a psychedelic atmosphere. The substance of the lyrics is presented as an inner monologue of the main character, turning into struggle with themselves, their fears and doubts.
Precisely chosen effects turn the sounds into an image, creating an effect of watching a theatrical play. A variety of used stylistic marks will leave no-one cold.
A team work with artists from the other genres gives you two otherworldly remixes. Jash Teua added some "sad keys" with ethnic flavor, letting you touch uncovered emotions and feelings. Astemir Marshenkulov’s work quite logically closes the viewing of "The Rope". Calm and paced sound lets you take a breath after the storm, and the major resolution signals about the hope for seeing something bright.
To sum it up, you can say "The Rope" by Awake For Life is a big and beautiful experiment in creation of new sound.
