After loosing uncle (Iggy Smallz) who seem to be at the peak of his career having built himself from a club DJ to a whole station manager at Y-FM, PusherBeats was fortunate enough to inherit Twistyles studio computer and was able to build his very fist recording studio in Atteridgeville where his two uncles(I.Motshwane & T.Motswhane) grew up. Not only did he take this opportunity to perfect his craft making beats and recording a few artists in the neighbourhood while pushing beats online, he also took the time to work on his first body of work; "Broken Pieces". Approaching the end of the album he decided to take their classic Motswako song (After asking for permission of cause and clearing this samples with DJ Christos & Vini Da Vinci) and flip it his own way. The song also features two talented artists; "MyBoba" who attended school with his two uncles and former Jam Alley host and Kings of Joburg actor "Nnekwa Tsajwa". When PusherBeats presented the finished track with a surprise spin on the Iggy Smallz(I.Motswhane) original verse to the other uncle Twixx(T. Motswhane) He not only got himself a classic for his debute album but the recognition from his first mentors that he hopped would come with him conquering how to work this newly inherited machine he had to learn to use to create all the songs on "Broken Pieces" Please let us know what you think of the verse in the comments. Stay tuned we dropping a PusherBeats track week on Audius. Follow for more.
