Sighted ended unresolved: a shore that never had a light saw her lamp low on the black western sea and decided to answer it, casting off the smallest boat toward a light no one there had ever crossed to. This is the crossing itself — the mirror of the Outbound arc's "Open Water," but from the other side of the sea. The far-coast sailor is hours out now, her own dark shore dropped behind, nothing ahead but that first lamp: small, steady, dead ahead, and for the first time in memory growing instead of receding. The old fear of the open west turns into a clean wide calm — she isn't crossing into nothing, she's crossing toward someone's light.
Musically it resolves what Sighted left open: the fifth-chain's next step (B -> F#) lands. F# major, I-vi-IV-V (F#-D#m-B-C#), 104 BPM — settling on the tonic it had been reaching for, then orbiting outward. Her lamp grows brighter across the whole track; the churning wake stays under the hull the whole crossing; the lone horn behind her is her own shore's farewell, sounded once and unanswered.
