got inspired by doing the Tommy O’Keeffe “Whiskey on a Weekday” remix to start using country instrumentation in my own context. all “country” samples are from Nathan Chapman’s Splice pack. he’s a wonderful musician and producer and the guiding force behind some of my most formative “songwriter” records, including The Band Perry’s self-titled debut and Taylor Swift’s Fearless/Speak Now records.
