The Warlock and the Golden Castle The Warlock and the Golden Castle Long ago, in a distant realm hidden beyond the boundaries of our world, there stood a magnificent castle unlike anything humanity had ever seen. It was a place where kings, knights, warriors, and noble leaders traveled from distant lands to gather in peace. Rather than meeting to wage war, they came together to discuss trade, traditions, friendship, and the future of their kingdoms. The people who lived within the castle were known for their peaceful and loving nature. They welcomed strangers, shared what they had, and believed that generosity and cooperation were more powerful than violence. For generations, the castle had been a symbol of harmony between different peoples. But that peace would not last. A powerful and evil warlock arrived in the kingdom, carrying ancient magic and a hatred for the peaceful civilization he found there. Unable—or unwilling—to conquer the kingdom through ordinary means, he cast a terrible spell over the castle. The inhabitants did not die. Instead, they were transformed into magnificent golden statues and artifacts. Kings became golden figures. Knights were frozen in place. Ordinary citizens became beautiful objects of gold, trapped inside the castle and unable to speak, move, or defend themselves. The entire kingdom became a silent golden tomb. The warlock disappeared, leaving the cursed castle behind. Many years later, people from Earth discover a mysterious portal leading to the forgotten kingdom. When they enter the castle, they are amazed by the enormous collection of golden treasures surrounding them. Without understanding the history behind them, they begin taking some of the golden artifacts back through the portal. But something extraordinary happens. As the golden objects pass through the portal, the ancient spell begins to weaken. The artifacts suddenly transform back into living beings. The humans are shocked and frightened. The beings are equally confused, having been trapped in the curse for what seems like an eternity. Eventually, the humans learn the horrifying truth: these were never treasures. They were the people of the Golden Castle. The revived inhabitants tell the humans about the warlock and explain that countless others remain trapped inside the castle. Their friends, families, kings, knights, and entire civilization are still imprisoned in golden form.
