THE CITY THAT BEGAN TO MELT
A fantasy action-comedy adventure where two worlds collide—and one of them is melting.
Imagine a world beyond our own, hidden behind an invisible layer of reality known as The Fabric.
On the other side is a spectacular cartoon universe: a sprawling, colorful city filled with bizarre characters, impossible machines, flying cars, eccentric creatures and technology that seems to operate according to the rules of animation rather than physics.
For generations, the people of this world have lived safely behind The Fabric, completely unaware that Earth exists.
Until now.
As humanity's pollution, resource consumption and rising temperatures push Earth's environment to breaking point, The Fabric begins to rupture.
At first, the cartoon inhabitants think the strange holes appearing in their sky are harmless.
Then the heat arrives.
Their buildings begin to soften.
Roads buckle.
Lakes evaporate.
Clouds turn black.
Paint literally runs down the sides of skyscrapers.
And the entire cartoon city begins to melt.
When scientists on Earth discover the impossible truth—that their environmental crisis is spilling through The Fabric and damaging another world—they send exploration teams through the rupture.
But they aren't the only ones coming through.
News crews, scientists, military aircraft and daring pilots enter the cartoon world as the story becomes the biggest news event in human history.
Then things get even stranger.
Because the cartoon world has its own technology.
Its own aircraft.
Its own mysterious UFOs.
And its own idea of what an invasion looks like.
Suddenly, real-world fighter jets are flying alongside wildly unconventional cartoon spacecraft, weaving through melting skyscrapers and skies filled with strange animated flying machines.
What begins as a scientific rescue mission becomes a spectacular race against time.
The humans must repair the damage to The Fabric—but they soon discover that technology alone cannot save the cartoon world.
The people of Earth have to change.
So the news crews begin broadcasting live from the melting city.
For the first time, humanity sees the consequences of its environmental damage from an entirely different perspective.
Children watch cartoon neighborhoods disappear.
Families watch strange animated creatures flee the heat.
Scientists explain what is happening.
