By Il CondominioErrore di Diagnostica is an album which which gives shape to a set of ideas we discussed while playing together here in Roma for a couple of years.
The first idea is that we wanted to record the music we play instead of releasing stuff put together on some computer. The second idea is that we wanted to find our own words to talk about the present, the times we live in: nothing nostalgic or self condescending. The third idea is that we didn’t want vocals to be on the spot leaving the other instruments in the background as it happens so much in mainstream music we all listen to on pop radio stations. The fourth idea is that age doesn’t matter and that the the right time to do whatever you want is now, provided that you actually have something to say.
The distinctive sound essentially relies on layback drums, articulate bass lines, guitar riffs and solos and surf choruses. The lyrics describe true feelings even if they are filled with irony and sarcasm.
