Cover of "Move It On Over", written by Hank Williams and released as a single by Hank Williams With His Drifting Cowboys" in June, 1947. Producer was Fred Rose. The song is said to be one of the earliest examples of rock and roll -- ahead of "Rock Around The Clock" by Bill Haley and the Comets in 1954. However, this version sounds more like a country song, which is understandable. The song has been covered by a number of artists but the version by George Thorogood And The Destroyers in 1978 was a major hit when it was released on the album, "Move It On Over". That version is more of a rock song. My cover was recorded on 26 November 2025.
