The colony survives. Its systems work, children are born beneath the twin suns, and human hands have made life possible where none should have existed. Where We Belong does not deny any of that. Instead, it begins with a quieter and more uncomfortable thought: survival and belonging may not be the same thing.
Earth is more than a lost point on an ancient star chart. Rain, rivers, open air, animals, seasons and blue horizons shaped human bodies and senses across countless generations. Beneath glass and filtered air, the question is therefore not simply whether humanity can continue living without its first world. It is what may slowly change when the environment that made humanity is gone.
