Nevermore: Never again I decided to scrap the previous EP Idea I'd been talking about for a long time, and am instead gonna try and tackle a full LP! If things go to plan, this is the first track of the album! I'll likely do a pre-release EP of some songs then do the full album, or something. I've actually had an idea for this song all the way back while I was making reincarnate, and I mentioned wanting to make it in my "Visions" remix, which was a test of sorts for the genre. The showcase for this song is really just the melody, as I wrote a main piano harmony, a melody with a backing harmony, and a solo that harmonizes using 3 different patches. I also focused a lot on dynamics, and worked on making the song feel a bit bigger given how small the drops feel. The sound design for this song was fairly simple, just a lot of layering and a small amount of convolution reverb for the second drop. Everything else I used is mostly made from layering and distortion, and are all techniques I've used previously. This song is in b Minor, and is a VI iv i VII progression (G Maj7 - e7 sus2 - bm7 - A6)
