Glacial Paths is a journey through territories suspended between matter and memory. Its ten pieces evoke landscapes of ice, glass, light and motion: chromed horizons, fractured tides, translucent clocks and circuits that seem to dream.
The piano is the album’s principal instrument, although in some pieces it was extensively processed to reveal the hidden harmonics within its sound and uncover a distinctive timbral identity. A KORG KRONOS 2 synthesiser was also used to broaden the work’s depth, space and textures.
Each composition forms a path through the same sonic landscape, where the organic and the technological cease to be opposites. The album moves with the serenity of a glacier: seemingly slow, yet transforming everything in its wake.
Recorded in Miami in 2024, Glacial Paths invites us to experience cold not as absence, but as space; silence not as emptiness, but as a form of breathing. It is music for contemplating immensity, exploring inner landscapes.
