FEELZ GOOD is my little love letter to the golden days of 90s trip-hop when beats were dusty, basslines were fat, and everything sounded like it was recorded in a smoky basement by someone wearing very large sunglasses. I wanted to capture that magical Friday afternoon feeling. You know the one… the week's finally over, the sun's doing its thing, your brain has already left the building, and suddenly everything feels a little bit groovier.
It's a wonky cocktail of nostalgia, lazy beats, strange little sounds and good vibrations. A nod to the classics, with a few odd ingredients thrown into the blender. No big plans, no serious faces, just me chasing that sweet spot somewhere between a 90s trip-hop record, a melting ice cream and the first sip of a Friday afterwork drink.
